Felix Mindlin
Felix Mindlin is an educator, flutist and saxophonist based in Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Santa Monica High School with honors in 2022, including the prestigious Louis Armstrong Award from the Santa Monica High School Jazz Bands. Felix has studied at the Colburn School in downtown LA with Lee Secard and the Colburn Jazz workshops as well as saxophone and chamber music with Harvey Pittel. Felix is also a longtime student of the legendary flutist, saxophonist and composer, Katisse Buckingham. He is currently earning his B.A in music education at California State University, Northridge where he studies with renowned flutist Larry Kaplan. When he isn’t studying, teaching or playing music around LA, Felix can be found at his home in Santa Monica with his family and dog.
